PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The University of Pennsylvania women's swimming and diving team opened at the Ivy League Championships Wednesday night in Providence, Rhode Island.
In the only two events of the night, Penn placed fourth in both the 200 medley relay and 800 freestyle relay. The Quakers clocked times of 1:38.42 in the 200 medley and 7:09.04 in the 800 freestyle, with both of these scores representing program records.
The previous records of 1:39.00 and 7:09.66 where obtained in 2025, with the 200 medley time coming at the Big Al and the 800 freestyle time coming at the 2025 Ivy Championships.
The 200 medley team consisted of
Amy Qin,
Kate Handley,
Brianna Cong, and
Amber Smith, while the 800 freestyle was made up of
Kayla Fu,
Anna Moehn,
Jenna Jacobs, and
Katya Eruslanova.
The Red and Blue are back in action tomorrow with the beginning of the individual events.
