Dating back to the 1800s, the Quaker brand is one of the oldest and most distinguished in the country, with a legacy that includes household figures such as John Heisman — namesake of the coveted Heisman Trophy — and iconic venues like Franklin Field and the legendary Palestra, the "Cathedral of College Basketball.”

Today, that legacy continues across 33 Division I teams with more than 1,000 student-athletes competing in the Ivy League and carrying forward the excellence that defines Penn Athletics.
