150 Years of Penn Football. 150 New Donors for the Next 150.

For 150 years, Penn Football has connected generations of Quakers through competition, tradition, and community. The 150th anniversary is an opportunity for every generation of Penn Football to leave a mark - not simply by celebrating our history, but by investing in the future. During last fiscal year, 350 alumni, fans and families generously invested in Penn Football’s student-athletes. This year, our goal is to engage at least 150 new supporters, each additional donor will celebrate one year of our proud program’s existence.

Reaching 500 or more donors by March 31, 2027 will position Penn Football for success in achieving our 2026-27 annual fund goal. To reach these goals, we are introducing a year-long opportunity to increase your involvement with Penn Football: the 1876 Society.

Created exclusively for the 150th anniversary season, the 1876 Society recognizes donors who choose to make a special commitment to the Football Varsity Fund during this historic year. In addition to the Penn Champions Club's six annual fund levels, the 1876 Society introduces memorable opportunities for involvement celebrating 150 years of Penn Football. Below are some of the exciting new experiences and perks included and the full 1876 Society membership chart: 
  • Inclusion in the 150th Anniversary Plaque to be displayed in Franklin Field 
  • Ivy League RTM Access at a discounted rate 
  • 150th Anniversary memorabilia items only available to 1876 Society members 
  • Above the Rim Society access for hospitality at home men's basketball games during the Palestra's 100th year
