Penn Park

About

Located on the Eastern edge of campus along the Schuylkill River, Penn Park offers one of the best views of the Philadelphia skyline. In addition to the view, the park features 24-acres of recreational facilities and open green space.

Among the features are NCAA-regulation athletic facilities, including two multipurpose fields, a multipurpose stadium, and both outdoor and indoor tennis complexes. Throughout the late-Fall and Winter,  the seasonal air structure provides a comfortable training environment for teams and recreational activities.

Throughout the year, Penn Park is host to various recreational leagues and special events. In the spring, it is home to several varsity athletic teams, including softball and both men's and women's tennis.

Elevated pedestrian pathways and bridges link Penn Park North to Walnut Street, South to River Fields, and West towards 33rd Street and the main campus. Although the park is open to the public, facility reservations must be made in advance and scheduled between 6am and midnight.
