River Fields

About
Located just off the Greys Ferry/University Avenue exit  of I-76, River Fields is the hidden gem of Penn's athletics facilities. The complex is home to several varsity teams, including men's and women's soccer, field hockey, baseball, and the throwing contingent of track & field.

In 2013, River Fields was refurbished to feature the main trio of athletic facilities – Rhodes Field (soccer), Ellen Vagelos Field (field hockey), and the Mondschein Throwing Complex (track & field). Just south of the main complex is Tommy Lasorda Field at Meiklejohn Stadium, home to the Penn Baseball team.

The William H. Hollenback Center which houses team locker rooms, an athletic training suite, and several offices. Continuing North and just over the Weave Bridge, visitors can access Penn Park and the rest of University City.
