PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania field hockey team has announced their schedule for the 2026 season.
The Quakers kick off the year with two home scrimmages against Penn State (Aug. 22) and British Columbia (Aug. 30).
Next, the team will head down to Chapel Hill to take on North Carolina (Sep. 4) and Old Dominion (Sep. 6).
After the trip down south, the Red and Blue will return to University City to square off against inner city foe La Salle (Sep. 11) in the regular season home opener at Ellen Vagelos Field. The team will begin Ivy League competition the following week as Princeton comes to town (Sep. 18).
Following the two-game homestand, the Quakers will play three games in seven days as they will head on the road to Towson (Sep. 20) and Dartmouth (Sep. 25) before returning to Philadelphia to face Drexel (Sep. 27).
October begins with matchups against Harvard (Oct. 2) and Villanova (Oct. 4) back home at Ellen Vagelos Field.
Penn continues Ivy League play the following week as they will head to Providence, Rhode Island to take on Brown (Oct. 9).
Then, the Quakers will return home to face Saint Joseph's (Oct. 11) and Columbia (Oct. 16) before heading back on the road.
The final road trip of the season will be at Lehigh (Oct. 18) and Yale (Oct. 23).
The final homestand of the season includes a Halloween matchup with Cornell (Oct. 31) and the final regular season against Temple (Nov. 1).
