PRINCETON, N.J. – The University of Pennsylvania women's swimming & diving team took the team title at the Big Al Invitational, a three-day event that concluded Saturday night at Princeton's DeNunzio Pool.
Penn scored 1,587 points over the three days. That left the Quakers well ahead of host Princeton (1,260.50) and third-place Columbia (737.50) in what was a five-team meet.
The women posted three more wins on Saturday night, starting with the 1,650 freestyle where
Sydney Bergstrom and
Anna Moehn went first and second ahead of Princeton's Chloe Kim.
Kate Levensten added her second title of the weekend, in the women's 200 backstroke, while
Amy Qin was the winner in the 100 individual medley and also took second in the 50-yard butterfly.
