PRINCETON, N.J. – The University of Pennsylvania women's swimming & diving team had a solid start at the Big Al Invitational, winning two events and seeing two program records bettered including its longest-standing swim mark. The three-day event is being hosted by Princeton at the Tigers' DeNunzio Pool.
Penn swimmers went 1-2 in the 50 breaststroke, event,
Amy Qin taking first place in 28.70 seconds and
Kate Handley finishing second in 28.82 seconds. Penn had the top four swimmers in the event and six of the top seven. The Quakers kept to their winning ways in the 500 freestyle,
