PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women's swimming and diving team continued its strong start to the 2025-26 campaign with another dominant performance at Sheerr Pool, defeating Brown on Saturday afternoon, 169-131.
Penn collected wins in 11 events, including a pair of relay victories and standout individual efforts from several student-athletes, specifically
Kayla Fu, who took a pair of events (50 free, 100 free).
With the result, the Quakers remain unbeaten at 4-0 for the second straight season while the Bears fall to 2-3.

*Penn opened the meet with a 1-2 finish in the 200 medley relay, as the team of
Kate Levensten,
Meredith Holcomb,
Maggie Hu, and Fu touched first in 1:41.74.
Amy Qin,
Kate Handley,
Amber Smith, and
Connie Wang followed in 1:41.97.

Anna Moehn claimed the 1000 free in 10:03.29, followed by
Sydney Bergstrom in third (10:10.49). Moehn later added a second-place finish in the 500 free (4:55.74).
*Levensten picked up another win in the 100 back (54.33), leading a Quaker sweep with
Brianna Cong second (54.91) and Wang third (56.78). Levensten later placed runner-up in the 200 back (1:58.29).
*Cong earned a victory of her own with a 1:57.41 in the 200 back, part of a strong multi-event day that also included third-place finishes in the 100 fly (55.93) and the 100 back.
*Hu won the 200 fly in 2:02.41 and added a second-place finish in the 100 fly (55.13).

Kayla Fu swept the sprint free events, taking the 50 free in 22.67 and the 100 free in 49.81.
*In the 100 breast, Handley (1:04.15) and Holcomb (1:04.22) finished second and third, respectively. Holcomb later won the 200 breast with a time of 2:16.97.

Amber Smith notched a win in the 100 fly, touching in 54.86 to lead a 1-2-3 finish for the Red and Blue.
*On the boards,
Rachel Yang posted a victory in the one-meter with a score of 275.40, while
Sadie Howard placed third in the three-meter (254.25).
*The Quakers closed the meet with a runner-up finish in the 400 free relay, as Fu, Smith, Wang, and Qin combined for a time of 3:23.16.

Penn heads out on the road for the first time this season on Saturday at Cornell, facing the Big Red and Princeton in Ithaca. The meet is scheduled to get started at 2 p.m.
