PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's and women's cross country teams travel to Bronx, N.Y. on Friday to compete at the 2025 Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championships, hosted by Columbia.

2025 Regular Season Highlights
Senior
Lily Murphy placed 10
th at the Paul Short Run recording a personal-best 6k time of 20:01.0. She was first at the Main Line Invitational with a 5k personal-best time of 16:48.6.
Lara Cota finished second at the Jersey Jam on Sept. 5 recording a personal-best 4.1k time of 14:07.4. Cota ran a 6k time of 20:51.7 at the Paul Short Run. Gabby Jones followed closely behind at 20:51.9. Jones recording a personal-best 6k time of 20:50.3 at the Princeton Fall Classic.
The women's team won the season opener at Princeton scoring 32 points. Cota took second, followed by Jones in fourth,
Izzy Rodriguez in fifth,
L'Mio Edwards in ninth, and
Kyra Compton in 12
th.
Penn men won the Main Line Invitational at Haverford with 24 points.
Sahil Dodda led the team clocking in first with a personal-best four-mile time of 19:19.6.
Kofi Fordjour placed third at 19:37.6, followed by
Shane Murphy in fourth at 19:38.7,
Esfan Daya in seventh, and
Vinay Raman in ninth.

Penn men finished fourth with 101 points. Penn women placed seventh with 149 points.
