PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania field hockey team will take on Ivy League foe Harvard in its third conference matchup of the season on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 12:30 p.m. in Cambridge, Mass.

Penn vs Harvard
The Quakers are 16-29-2 against the Crimson all-time, having lost their last nine matchups. Penn's last win came back in 2015 in a 2-1 overtime win in Cambridge, Mass. The Red and Blue enter the game after a successful 2-0 homestand against Drexel and Dartmouth. Harvard is one of only three ranked teams with an undefeated record this season, most recently defeating #13 Monmouth, 2-0, on Sunday.

*Penn is riding a two-game win streak after defeating Drexel and Dartmouth at home, the team's first back-to-back wins of the season.
*Julia Ryan scored another goal against Dartmouth on Friday, currently leading the team with five goals on the season.
*Sydney Mandato was named player of the game against the Big Green with a game-high two goals in the Quakers' 4-2 victory.
*Ruby de Frees has totaled 40 saves this season, adding five against Dartmouth.
*The team's win against Dartmouth was its first Ivy League win this season.
Scouting the Crimson
*The Crimson are the Ivy League's highest ranked team, with an undefeated 8-0 record this season.
*Five players have scored at least three goals this season, including Tilly Butterworth, Bronte-May Brough, Martha le Huray, Sage Piekarski and Lara Beekhuis.
*The defense has recorded four shutouts this season against UConn, Dartmouth, Northeastern and most recently Monmouth last Sunday.
*Goalie Linde Burger ranks third in the country in goals allowed, having given up five total on the year with a 0.828 save percentage.
*The offense has outscored opponents 23-5 this season.
