CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior
Ben Feldman earned himself second-team All-Ivy honors in the 50-yard freestyle, while sophomore
James Curreri also medaled in the 500 free as the University of Pennsylvania men's swimming and diving team closed out the second night of Ivy League Championships in fourth place with 308 points at Harvard's Blodgett Pool.
Feldman nearly won the Quakers their first Ivy title in the 50 free since 2014, falling to Harvard's Sonny Wang by .10 seconds.

*Entering the A-Final with the eighth-fastest preliminary time, Feldman rallied back in the final 25 to win the silver medal with a mark of 19.71, while Wang won it at 19.61.
Liam Campbell placed fifth in the B-Final (20.11).
*Curreri and
Matthew Fallon placed third and fourth, respectively, in the 500 free to kick off the evening. Curreri notched a time of 4:19.28, while Fallon registered a 4:19.51.
Kevin Keil took third place in the B-Final with a time of 4:23.85. With a time of 4:27.55,
Robert Melsom placed seventh in the C-Final.

Jason Schreiber placed eighth in the B-Final of the 200 IM with a time of 1:48.36. In the C-Final,
Peter Whittington took fourth (1:48.19),
Matt Leblanc (1:48.83) placed fifth,
Daniel Gallagher (1:48.95) came in sixth and
Benji Ham (1:50.75) rounded out the field in eighth.

Cody Hopkins was a B-finalist in the one-meter dive, scoring a 284.30 to take fourth place.
*The Quakers had a fast showing in the 200-free relay with the quartet of Campbell, Feldman,
Andrew Dai and
Xavier Hill swimming a 1:19.24 to finish in fourth place.
Up Next
Penn will compete in six individual swimming events on Friday including the 1,000 free, 100-yard butterfly, 400 IM, 200 free, 100-yard breaststroke, and 100-yard backstroke. The night will end with the consolation finals of the three-meter dive and the 400-medley relay.
