Watson Nguyen and junior
Peter Whittington taking part in the postseason meet.
NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION
Nguyen earned his bid to the 'chips with automatic qualifiers via Ivy League Championship wins in the 100 and 200 butterfly. Nguyen broke the DeNunzio Pool and program record in the 100 as part of this automatic bid.
Whittington swam his way to the NCAA championships with a second-place finish in the 200 butterfly, just behind Nguyen with a 1.52:10 to Nguyen's 1:52.03. The pair become the first men's duo to make the championships since 2016.
Nguyen will compete starting Thursday, opening his postseason with the 100 butterfly. Both Nguyen and Whittington will then compete in the 200 butterfly Saturday to close out 2026.
