CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Following two relay events to begin the weekend, the University of Pennsylvania men's swimming and diving program finished day one of the 2024 Ivy League Championships in sixth place with 98 points at Blodgett Pool.

The Quakers picked up a sixth-place finish in the 200-medley relay before taking fifth in the 800 to close out the evening session.

Meet host Harvard swept both relays to lead with 128 points, with Yale in second (110), Princeton in third (108), and Columbia and Cornell tied for fourth (102). Penn (98), Dartmouth (90), and Brown (90) round out the Ancient Eight field.

Ben Feldman clocked in at 1:27.01 to take sixth place in the 200-medley relay.

Daniel Gallagher took fifth in the 800 free relay, with a time of 6:27.23 to narrowly beat out Columbia (6:27.29).

Individual events get underway Thursday with the 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free, one-meter dive, and 200 free relay. Preliminary heats begin at 11 a.m. with finals set for 6 p.m. Both sessions will be streamed live on ESPN+.
