HANOVER, N.H. – The University of Pennsylvania women's swimming and diving team earned its first Ivy victory of the season on Saturday, defeating host Dartmouth, 157-143. The Quakers fell to Yale, 228.5-71.5.

Victories were difficult to come by, but Penn finished on the podium in seven races while four Quakers picked up second-place finishes.

Anna Kalandadze earned a second-place finish in the 1,000-yard freestyle, swimming a time of 10:04.74. She was followed closely by
Sydney Bergstrom (10:14.79) in third and
Maggie Straley (10:25.72) in fourth.

*In the 200-yard butterfly,
Vanessa Chong finished second with a time of 2:04.17. She also placed second in the 100 fly (56.58).

Katya Eruslanova led a Penn freshman contingent of 2-3-4 finishers with a time of 2:03.18 in the 200-yard backstroke.
Charlotte Holliday took third (2:03.94) while
Kate Levensten came in fourth (2:05.03).

*Levensten also placed third in the 100 back with a time of 57.70.

Margot Kaczorowski led the Quakers with a third-place finish in the 100 free (52.76).

Amelia Girotto finished in third place in the 500 free (5:03.64).

*On the boards,
Sophie Slayden took sixth in the one-meter dive (234.50) and seventh in the three-meter dive (232.90).

Penn closes out the regular season next weekend by visiting West Chester on Friday and hosting Harvard Saturday at Sheerr Pool on Senior Day.
