PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The University of Women's swimming and diving team finished competition at the Ivy League Championships, placing second among the competing programs with 1,204 points. After placing fifth last season, the Quakers found another gear with the help of multiple first and second place finishes across the final two days.
Senior
Sydney Bergstrom got the Quakers on the board for the first time at the event, placing first in the 1650 free with a 16:02.63. Fellow senior
Anna Moehn was just behind in the same event with a 16:06.59.
In the 200 back, junior
Kate Levensten helped the cause by placing second with a 1:54.85. The team of Fu, Qin, Wang, and Smith set a program record in the 400 free relay, clocking a 3:18.86
On the diving board, senior
Sadie Howard found a first-place finish, smashing the previous school record of 316.65 with a 331.25.
