Kalandadze Earns Second-Team All-America Status After 10th-Place Finish in 1,650 Free

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Senior Anna Kalandadze etched her name even further into the University of Pennsylvania women's swimming & diving team's record book on Saturday, recording a 10th-place finish and becoming an All-American in the 1,650-yard freestyle as the NCAA Championships concluded at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatics Center.

After she won the Ivy League title and set a new conference record a little over a month ago in the event, Kalandadze showcased her craft on the national level, earning the program's second All-America honor in as many years.

The senior swam a time of 15:55.60 in the mile to record a 10th-place finish to conclude her remarkable season with some prestigious hardware.

Kalandadze swam two events this weekend in Knoxville, the 10th-place showing in the 1,650 free and a 25th-place finish in the 500 on Thursday.
