ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The University of Pennsylvania women's swimming and diving team completed its run at the 2023 ECAC Championships this past weekend at Lejeune Hall on the campus of the United States Naval Academy.
The Quakers placed fourth of 23 teams with 232 points and were led by one ECAC Champion,
Anna Boeckman, who took home the title on the first night of competition in the 200-yard individual medley.
Junior
Hadley DeBruyn, who recorded two fourth-place performances and a third-place finish in the 400 IM, finished the meet as the third-highest individual scorer in the field.

*Boeckman's 2:01.52 in the 200 IM took home the title one night one, followed by a fourth-place finish for
Hadley DeBruyn (2:04.90) in the A-Final.

Lyndsey Reeve opened the night with a time of 4:56.40 in the 500-yard freestyle to finish third.
*The 400 medley relay also placed third as
Sophie Henriksen,
Jill Anderson,
Keren Makhervaks and
Brooke Blom swam a 3:50.97.
*On Saturday, the Quakers led off with a solid performance in the 200 medley relay as Henriksen, Anderson, Blom and
Keara McGowan placed third at 1:45.37.
*DeBruyn reached the podium with a third-place time of 4:21.74 in the 400 IM.
*Blom recorded a fifth-place finish in the 100 fly (55.35).
*Henriksen placed fifth with a time of 56.13 in the 100 back.
*On Sunday, another strong swim had DeBruyn take fourth in the 200 back (2:02.49).
*Boeckman had a fifth-place finish in the 200 breast (2:15.23).
*In the 200 fly,
Kiani Morisi got on the podium by finishing third (2:04.79) while Makhervaks got eighth (2:07.76).
*The 400 free relay placed third in the final event of the weekend, as Blom, Boeckman,
Rachel Blackwell and McGowan swam a 3:32.68.

Vanessa Chong (200 fly) all recorded NCAA B-Cut times during the season and could qualify for nationals.
