PRINCETON, N.J. – Senior
Anna Kalandadze became the new Ivy League and Penn record holder in the 1,650-yard freestyle as she earned her second Ivy title of the week to pace the University of Pennsylvania women's swimming & diving team in the final day of the Ivy League Championships Saturday evening at DeNunzio Pool.
Kalandadze headlined the second 1-2-3 finish of the week in a distance event as
Sydney Bergstrom finished in second and
Anna Moehn took third in the mile.
The Quakers finished the weekend in sixth place with 832 points.

Anna Kalandadze's lightning-quick time of 15:53.88 snapped a 14-year Ivy League record of 15:57.34 held by Princeton's Alicia Aemisegger from 2009. She also snapped
Lia Thomas' school record of 15:59.71. In addition, Kalandadze set her second DeNunzio Pool record of the week.

Sydney Bergstrom swam a 16:20.35 to finish second while
Anna Moehn clocked in at 16:20.35, placing third. The three marks were NCAA B-Cut times.

Lyndsey Reeve placed eighth in the event with a time of 16:48.99.

Vanessa Chong earned a bronze medal in the 200-yard butterfly with an NCAA B-Cut time of 1:58.50.
Emma Stolberg finished third in the C-Final with a time of 2:03.44 while
Jillian Johnson placed eighth (2:12.11).

Margot Kaczorowski swam a 50.30 to finish seventh in the B-Final of the 100-yard freestyle.
Abby Wickersham finished second in the C-Final (50.26).

Izzy Pytel swam a 2:13.80 in the 200-yard breaststroke to finish fifth overall. She snapped her own school record earlier in the day with a time of 2:13.75 in the preliminary round.
Anna Boeckman finished eighth with a time of 2:16.06.

Ellen Holmquist's 2:18.37 got her fifth in the C-Final, while
Hannah Liu placed seventh (2:19.94).
*With Wickersham, Kaczorowski,
Amber Smith and Moehn teaming up, Penn finished seventh in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:22.52).
*In the three-meter dive,
Sadie Howard finished 18th (234.35),
Olivia Francella in 19th (226.15) and
Madeleine Parker finished 24th (196.30).
*Kalandadze, who earned First-team All-Ivy honors, finished the meet tied for the second-most points of individuals with 91 points. Princeton's Nikki Venema was named the High Point Swimmer of the Meet with 96 points.
*Princeton won the team title with 1,480 points. Harvard finished second (1,254), Yale in third (1,158.5), Brown in fourth (951.5), Columbia fifth (910.5), Penn sixth (832), Cornell finished seventh (552) and Dartmouth in eighth (255.5).
