NEW YORK, N.Y. – The University of Pennsylvania track and field teams wrapped up the Dr. Sander/Columbia Challenge on Saturday at The Armory in the Big Apple.
Â
The Quakers put together a lot of great performances for the meet, and on Saturday the women's team hit the record book with six new updates while the men added one.
Â
In the 200m,
Skyla Wilson finished third overall with a time of 24.25 to move to fifth in program history. This is fresh off setting a new program record in the 60m hurdles on Friday. She was joined in the 200m by
Caia Gelli, who crossed the line in fifth with a time of 24.45. The freshman already sits sixth in the record with a personal best time of 24.29.
Â
Gelli moved up three spots to seventh in program history in the 400m on Saturday, clocking a time of 55.55 for second place.
Â
In the 800m,

Â
Shifting to the field events,
Emma de Boer finished seventh in the high jump, clearing 1.70m to land her ninth in the record book. At throws,

Finishing fifth overall, her best events were the 60m hurdles and shot put, taking second in both. She clocked a time of 8.93 in the hurdles, while tossing 10.98m in the shot put.
Â
On the men's side,
