AKRON, Ohio – Sophomore
Izzy Pytel broke the University of Pennsylvania women's swimming and diving team's first individual school record of the season (200-yard breaststroke) on Sunday at the Zippy Invitational, as the Quakers closed the meet with a third-place finish.

* Pytel's 2:13.98 in the 200-yard breaststroke is the fastest time in program history, snapping teammate
Anna Boeckman's previous mark of 2:14.75 set at the end of last season. Pytel finished the event Sunday in fifth place to pace the team.
* The Quakers brought home a 1-2-3 finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle as
Anna Kalandadze (16:07.95) and
Catherine Buroker (16:29.59) recorded NCAA B-Cut times by finishing first and second.
Sydney Bergstrom came in third (16:38.70) with
Lyndsey Reeve finishing fifth (17:07.30).
Bridget O'Leary scored a 15th place finish at 17:43.73.

Margot Kaczorowski finished third in the 100 free (50.10), while
Abby Wickersham won the B-Final with a time of 50.80.

Vanessa Chong got second in the 200-yard butterfly with a mark of 1:59.34.
Joy Jiang came in fourth (1:59.61).

*Three Quakers finished in the top eight of the 200 backstroke B-Final.
Sophie Henriksen finished fourth at 2:02.72 followed by
Hadley DeBruyn (2:02.76) and
Emma Stolberg (2:07.66).
*Host Akron won the Zippy Invitational title (1,835 points), Buffalo finished second (1,647) with Penn finishing third (1,536).
