ITHACA, N.Y. – The University of Pennsylvania women's swimming and diving team closed out the weekend with a 154-145 victory over Princeton, but fell to host Cornell, 190-108 at Teagle Pool Saturday afternoon.
The Quakers had four first-place finishes with
Catherine Buroker and
Vanessa Chong tallying a pair of wins on the day.

*Buroker led off the meet with a victory in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:07.66), finishing just above teammate
Anna Kalandadze at 10:14.31.
*Buroker also narrowly edged out Kalandadze in the 500 free with a time of 5:01.03. Kalandadze clocked in at 5:01.92 to finish second.
*Chong claimed victory in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:00.96.
Joy Jiang came in second at 2:01.20. Chong also won the 200-yard IM (2:04.36), finishing just above Jiang at 2:07.12.
*She also finished second place in the 100 fly (55.73), while
Izzy Pytel got third in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:22.64).
*On the diving board,
Sadie Howard recorded a second-place finish in the three-meter dive (272.75) and third in the one-meter dive (251.40).
*The day closed with a second place finish for the Quakers in the 400 freestyle relay as
Abby Wickersham,
Amber Smith,
Anna Moehn and
Margot Kaczorowski swam a 3:27.54.
