PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The University of Pennsylvania gymnastics team has a busy week ahead of them, taking part in two quad meets. The first meet will take place Thursday, when the Quakers take on Towson, Maryland, and host Temple in the second four-team meet at Temple this year. Penn will then join the Pink Invitational Meet, hosted by the Philadelphia Convention Center, this Saturday.

Before the Break
* Penn enjoyed a much-earned bye week this week. Prior to the break, the Quakers banked an undefeated record of 17-0, culminating in a third-straight Ivy Classic title. Freshmen

Jordan Barrow have all earned GEC weekly awards thus far.
9.800's Galore!
* The Quakers roster is incredibly deep this year. 13 different Quakers have scored a 9.800 or better, contributing to the historic season they find themselves in.
Quaker Notemeal
* Last time at Temple, Penn claimed five top three finishes. On the vault,
Manama Fofana and
Ananya Patanakul placed second (9.800).
Luci Toczydlowski earned a solo claim to second with her 9.800 on the bars.
Alisha Werlen placed second on the bars with a 9.850, while
Ava Hooten earned third on the bars (9.875).
* The Quakers crossed the 49.000 barrier on the balance beam against Temple last time, racking up a 49.125.
Road to Nationals Rankings
* The Quakers sit at #35 in the current Road to Nationals rankings. Of the opponents the Quakers will see this week, Maryland ranks #27, Rutgers #38, Towson #39, Yale #48, Temple #54 and West Chester #67.
* The Quakers rank third in the Northeast regional ranks on the balance beam with an average score of 48.832.
Scouting the Terrapins
* The Terps enter Thursday's meet with a record of 7-6. They have wins over George Washington, Long Island, New Hampshire, Washington, Illinois, Western Michigan, and Nebraska.
* In their last meet, the Terps took down the Cornhuskers, 196.050-195.900.
* The Terps posted a 49.350, including a 9.900 from Rayna Engelmayer, on the floor against Nebraska.
Scouting the Tigers
* The Tigers enter Thursday's meet with a record of 10-9. They've beaten West Chester, Long Island, Ursinus, George Washington, Eastern Michigan, Fisk, and Temple.
* In their latest meet, the Tigers placed third with a team score of 195.675. They took down Ursinus while falling to N.C. State and West Virginia.
* The Tigers are coming off the second-best floor exercise score in program history, earning a 49.450.
Scouting the Owls
* The Owls enter Thursday's meet with a record of 7-13. They have wins over Brockport, West Virginia, Long Island, Texas Woman's, Fisk, William & Mary, and Eastern Michigan.
* In their most recent meet, the Owls took down Eastern Michigan 194.575-193.000.
* Junior Ameilia Budd is having a great year for Temple, ranking ninth in the Northeast regional rankings on the vault.
Scouting the Scarlet Knights
* The Scarlet Knights enter Saturday's meet Saturday's meet with a record of 6-7. They've beaten the likes of Temple, Brockport, Ball State, Western Michigan, Maryland, and Illinois.
* Rutgers placed third in their last meet, topping Illinois but falling to Minnesota and Michigan State.
* The Scarlett Knights earned a season-high 49.125 on the bars against their Big Ten foes.
Scouting the Bulldogs
* The Bulldogs enter this meet with a record of 8-7. They have wins over the likes of New Hampshire, Towson, Southern Connecticut State, Temple, William & Mary, Cornell, and Brown
* In their latest meet, they placed fourth with a 192.125.
* Despite the finish, the Bulldogs broke their program record for team score on the vault with a 48.900, topping the mark they set earlier this year (48.850).
Scouting the Golden Rams
* The Golden Rams enter Saturday's meet with a record of 6-7. They have wins over George Washington, Cornell, William & Mary, SUNY Cortland, Ursinus, and Bridgeport.
* The Golden Rams claimed victory over Bridgeport in their last meet, 193.175-192.200.
* Sarah Eskew continues to have a great year for West Chester. She has posted a 9.7 or better on the vault in six of eight meets.
