PHILADELPHIA –Tiago Socarras and Jessica Oji, of the University of Pennsylvania track & field teams, will participate in the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday - Saturday, March 13-14 at the Randal Tyson Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Socarras qualified for the national championships in the 800m, recording a personal-best time of 1:46.28 at the Tiger Paw Invitational on Feb. 14, placing first. 
 
Scarras is set to compete in the semi-finals on Friday at 7:35p.m. ET / 6:35p.m. CT. The finals for the 800m is scheduled at 6:20p.m. ET/ 5:20p.m. CT on Saturday. 
 
Oji placed first in shot put at the Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Championships on Mar. 1 with a mark of 18.50m 60' 8.5", qualifying her for the national championships. She holds the all-time Ivy League record in this event. 
 
The shot put prelims and finals are set for Saturday at 3:45p.m. ET/ 2:45p.m. CT.
