ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Pennsylvania track and field set a pair of school records on the final day of the Spec Towns Invitational at Georgia.
Freshman
Jessica Oji broke the school record in the women's shot put recording a third round mark of 18.10m (59' 4.75"), placing first amongst collegiate athletes.
Oji's mark ranks first in the NCAA.
The men's 4x400m relays team of
David Davitt,
Nayyir Newash-Campbell,
Benjamin Markham,
Ryan Matulonis closed out the day recording a time 3:03.74, breaking the school record.
Angeludi Asaah won the women's discus, ranked 10th in the NCAA with a sesaon-best mark of 56.66m (185' 11").
Jordyn Reed recorded a personal-best time of 11.70 in the 100m, followed by
Keira Beaumont at 11.80. Reed's time ranks fifth on the Quakers all-time performance list, Beaumont is tied for seventh.
The women's 4x400m relay team of
Simone Castelluccio,
Rianna Floyd,
Giuliana Ligor,
Jailyn Milord and clocked 3:35.63, sixth-fastest time in program history.
L'Mio Edwards claimed third in the women's 800m with a season-best time of 2:08.58.
