PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's and women's track and field program is set to compete at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Ore. on June 10 – 13.

Freshman Jessica Oji leads the East Region, putting 18.26m (59' 11") at the first rounds in the women's shot put, placed first after three rounds. Oji won the Ivy League Heps Outdoor Championships with a mark of 17.91m (58' 9.25"), setting a meet record. She was seventh in shot put at the 2026 NCAA Indoor Championships at 17.66m (57' 11.25"), first team All-American. Oji holds the all-time Ivy League record putting 18.50m (60' 8.5") at the Ivy League Indoor Championship, named the women's most outstanding field performer of the meet. 

Senior Lily Murphy returns to Eugene for another chance at the women's 10,000m. Murphy qualified for the national championships running 32:52.30, finishing fifth at the NCAA East First Rounds. She won the 2026 Ivy League Outdoor Heps with a time of 34:24.26, her second career win. In March, she was 10^th at the Raleigh Relays with a season-best time of 32:51.40. Murphy last competed at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in 2024. 

The men's team will be represented by Ryan Matulonis in the 400m hurdles and Kampton Kam in high jump. 

Matulonis is set to make his third appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships running a personal-best 49.25 at the East Prelims, finishing second in his heat. He is a three-time Ivy League 400m hurdles champion, having won the 2026 championships with a time of 49.80. 

Kam earned his ticket back to Eugene clearing 2.16m (7' 1") in Lexington. He placed second at the Ivy League championships (2.15m) and first at the Penn Relays with a season-best 2.17m (7' 1.5"). Kam was eighth at last year's national outdoor championships at a height of 2.15m (7' 0.5").
