PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's and women's track & field teams travel back to Princeton, N.J. this weekend to compete at the 2026 Ivy League Heptagonal Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 16 – 17.
Events are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m. on Sunday.

Freshman
Jessica Oji continues to dominate the Ivy League holding both the indoor (18.50m) and outdoor (18.31m) records. Oji currently ranks fourth in the NCAA women's shot put at 18.31m (60' 1"), over seven feet further than anyone else in the league.
She finished seventh at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a mark of 17.66m (57' 11.25"). Oji claimed gold at the indoor Ivy League Heps setting a meet record at 18.50m (60' 8.5"), named the Most Outstanding Women's Field Performer.
Kampton Kam leads the Ivy League in the men's high jump at a season-best height of 2.17m (7' 1.5"), cleared at the Penn Relays on April 25. Kam is the only athlete in the league to have cleared over seven feet this season.
He won his third Ivy League indoor title at the 2026 Heps clearing 2.12m (6' 11.5").
Ranked fourth in the NCAA,
Ryan Matulonis looks to capture his third straight title in the 400m hurdles. Matulonis sits first in the Ivy League with a time of 49.39.
Yuliya Maslouskaya broke the women's heptathlon program record finishing second at the Spec Towns Invitational with 5389 points. In March, Maslouskaya won the pentathlon scoring 4166 points at the Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Championships.
Thomas Bucks,
Atticus Soehren, and
Jake Rose enter the championships as the top seed in their respective event. Bucks leads the men's pole vault at 5.20m (17' 0.75"), Soehren leads javelin at 67.47m (221' 4"), and Rose leads the decathlon with 7362 points.
Soehren and Rose look to defend their Ivy League titles this weekend.
The women's 4x400m (3:33.51) and 4x800m (8:42.63) relay teams ended the regular season ranked first in the league.
Penn women won the 4x400m relay last year with a time of 3:40.22.

The top 48 declared student-athletes will be accepted into the first-round competitions for each individual event. The top 24 declared relay teams will be accepted into the first-round competitions for each relay event.
Combined events do not attend the first round. For combined events (Heptathlon and Decathlon), the top 24 declared student-athletes in each event based on their position on the national descending-order list will be accepted directly into the Championships.
