PHILADELPHIA – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced its Division I National Academic Squad, and the University of Pennsylvania field hockey program had 17 representatives earn the honor.

The 17 Quakers are: Ellie Almeida, Jazmin Borensztein, Ruby de Frees, Sarah Ding, Naomi Esterowitz, Megan Frank, Philine Klas, Amy Lanouette, Livia Loozen, Sydney Mandato, Lucy Mangat, Emma Nahon, Samira Rafide, Julia Ryan, Emily Stafford, Riley Thomson, and Alexis Williams.
 
The Division I National Academic Squad recognizes more 1,100 undergraduate student-athletes from 82 institutions who achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester.
