PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania field hockey team has announced their team awards for the 2024-25 season.
The senior class was awarded with the Sage and Cloud Coach's Award. The Coach's Award recognizes players who embody the highest standards of Penn field hockey—those who not only uphold the program's expectations, but also elevate them through leadership, consistency, and daily commitment. Anne Sage, the inaugural Head Coach of the Penn field hockey program in 1979, was succeeded by her longtime assistant, Val Cloud. The seniors who received the award include
Livia Loozen, for her exceptional work rate, intensity, toughness, and daily passion.
Amy Lanouette, for her dependability in the high-pressure back line and her poise both on and off the field.
Julia Ryan, for her talent as a playmaker and her ability to deliver in critical moments. And
Philine Klas, for serving as a commanding anchor and a significant penalty corner threat.
