Setting The Bar-row
* After claiming first in six events last season, junior
Jordan Barrow is already halfway to that total. Barrow earned first place finishes in the bars (9.825), beam (9.750), and vault (9.850).
New Year, New Faces
* Sophomores
Luci Toczydlowski,
Maggie Murphy, and
Skylar Goodstadt, as well as first-year
Ava Hooten,
Ruth Whaley, and
Ananya Patanakul all made their Quaker event debuts. Toczydlowski placed first in the bars with a 9.825 while Hooten also placing first in the floor (9.775).
Quaker Notemeal
* Penn's 194.850 against Cornell and Bridgeport is the best opening season score in program history.
* Penn returns six First Team All-GEC honorees in
Jordan Barrow,
Manama Fofana,
Marissa Lassiter,
Sophia Paris,
Mimi Fletcher, and
Alisha Werlen. Lassiter and Werlen will lead the charge as team captains for the 2026 season.
* Head coach
Kirsten Becker is back for her fifth season in University City. Becker is the only coach in program history to win four conference championships. She is joined by assistant coaches
Casey Zacot and
Mabry Craddock.
* The Quakers ended the 2025 campaign ranked No. 45 in the Road to Nationals rankings and will look to build on that for the 2026 season.

* Week 2's ranking have the Quakers sitting at #37, with George Washington (#50), Cornell (#54), and West Chester (#70) following behind.
* Junior Barrow ranks tied for first in the Northeast Regional rankings on the vault.
Scouting the Revolutionaries
* The Revolutionaries opened their season with a quad against Maryland, New Hampshire, and Long Island, placing third with a 193.200.
* First-year Alison Mun earned first at the meet with a 9.875 on the vault.
* Senior Deana Sheremeta also claimed first, this time in the beam (9.850) and all-around (39.025).
Scouting the Big Red
* Cornell began their year against Penn and Bridgeport, placing second with a 192.775.
* Sophomore Sarah Goetter earned a share of first on the floor with a 9.775, while senior Cami Whitaker placed second in vaults with a 9.825
Scouting the Golden Rams
* The Golden Rams began their season at Towson, falling to the Tigers 187.9-195.325.
* Senior Sarah Eskew got things going on the bars for West Chester, posting a 9.750. Junior Lydia Stoner posted a similar 9.725 on the floor.
