Gymnastics Announces 2026 Meet Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Seven months after claiming its fourth straight Gymnastics East Conference (GEC) championship and second straight Ivy Classic, the University of Pennsylvania gymnastics team released its 2026 schedule today.
 
The season kicks off Sunday, Jan. 11, when the Quakers travel to Cornell to open GEC competition. This begins a string of three straight away competitions, with meets at George Washington (Jan. 18) and Temple (Jan. 23) following Cornell.
 
The Red and Blue start February with three consecutive home meets, beginning with Bridgeport on Sunday, Feb. 1. They then host a quad-meet against Cornell, George Washington and William & Mary on Feb. 6. and end with Towson and West Chester on Feb. 15.
 
The final meet before a bye week is the Ivy Classic, with host Yale welcoming Penn, Brown and Cornell on Sunday, Feb. 22.
 
Following the bye, Penn kicks off March with a meet featuring Maryland, Towson, and host Temple on Thursday, March 5. Two days later, Penn squares off against Yale, Rutgers, and WCU in the Philadelphia Convention Center before visiting Towson on March 13.
 
The Quakers will then take one final long trip before the year's end, heading to California to take on Cal, Washington and UC Davis on March 15.
 
The year ends with the GEC Championships, being hosted by Cornell on Saturday, March 21. The Quakers will look to defend their "treble" in Ithaca, N.Y.

The Red and Blue return a number of key contributors, including captains Skyelar Kerico, Marissa Lassiter and Alisha Werlen. Kerico enters the season as the two-time GEC Gymnast of the Year and will look to make it three in 2026.
