Kerico is one of three individual gymnasts (Delaney DeHaan – George Washington and Isabella Minervini – Towson) competing in the all-around at Happy Valley.
The Toms River, N.J. native had one of the best individual seasons in Penn gymnastics history. She repeated as Gymnastics East Conference (GEC) Gymnast of the Year and also won GEC Co-Performance of the Year for her record-breaking 9.925 on vault against West Virginia (3/14). She was consensus First-Team All-GEC (vault, bars, beam, floor and all-around), placing first in the conference on vault (9.850), bars (9.890) and all-around (39.155).
She saved her best efforts for when it mattered most. At the 2025 GEC Championships, she became the first Penn gymnast since 2001 to win three individual conference titles in one season (vault, bars and all-around). In the process, Kerico notched an all-around score of 39.425 to break her own program and conference record. She now holds the top six all-around scores in school history.
Fletcher is one of six gymnasts competing on the balance beam at PSU. She is joined by Karleigh DiCello (WVU), Clara Hong (Towson), Maddie Komoroski (Maryland), Heidi Schultz (Kent State) and Deana Sheremeta (GW).
Fletcher shined as a beam specialist in her first season at University City. As a freshman, she topped the GEC and ranked fifth in the Northeast Region on beam with a National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 9.860. At the Temple Tri-Meet on February 8, she recorded the second-best event score in program history at 9.925. Fletcher was recognized with first-team All-GEC and All-Ivy honors.
Penn is sending two gymnasts to NCAA's for the first time since 2012 when Dana Bonincontri and current head coach
Kirsten Becker (Strausbaugh) competed in the all-around in Raleigh, N.C. Fletcher becomes the second Penn freshman all-time to qualify for NCAA Regionals, along with Mary Pedersen in 1991 and Marissa Rosen in 2007. Kerico is the first Quaker to compete in all-around at NCAA's since Becker (Strausbaugh) in 2013.
The top all-arounder and event specialist at each regional (who is not on an advancing team) qualifies for their respective events at the national championship in Fort Worth, Texas.
