Junior
Skyelar Kerico repeated as Gymnast of the Year and also received Co-Performance of the Year. Head Coach
Kirsten Becker won her second Coach of the Year award in four seasons at the helm.
Kerico has already cemented herself as one of the best gymnasts to ever come to University City. This season she set personal bests on the bars (9.950) and beam (9.925). She also broke the program record on vault with her 9.925 against West Virginia – garnering Co-Performance of the Year with West Chester's EmmaGrace Kelly.
The Toms River, N.J. saved her best performance for the brightest stage. At the 2025 GEC Championships, she broke her own school and conference record in the all-around at 39.425. She won three event titles on vault (9.925), bars (9.900) and all-around while also finishing as runner-up on beam (9.850).
She has now won five individual GEC titles at Penn and has become the first gymnast in school history with multiple conference titles in the all-around.
The Quakers under Coach Becker were the pinnacle of the GEC once again. They won their fourth straight GEC regular season championship with an NQS of 195.470 – the second highest in program history.
They started off the season in emphatic fashion with a 194.725 at No. 23 Penn State. It is the best mark in a season opener in school history.
At the Ivy Classic, Penn repeated as champions for the first time since 2012 at 195.375.
Jordan Barrow and Kerico repeated as vault and all-around champions with Kerico also securing the bars title. Altogether, the Red and Blue had 10 Quakers receive 18 All-Ivy honors.
Penn capped off the season with its fourth straight GEC Championship, scoring a 195.700. The championship completed the "treble" in back-to-back years with the Ivy Classic, GEC regular season and GEC Championship titles.
