The Penn vs. Seton Hall Series
*The Pirates hold a commanding lead in the all-time series, bringing a 12-3-2 record into Friday's battle.
*These teams haven't met up since the 2017 season, when Seton Hall won 2-1 at Rhodes Field.
*The last time the Quakers took the trip to the Garden State to take on Seton Hall, the match ended in a double-overtime 1-1 draw.

*Penn opened the 2025 campaign last Friday night, dominating Loyola Maryland 4-0 in University City.

Patrick Cayelli and
Romeo Dahlen were offensive forces in the campaign opener, tallying four points each. On the other end of the field,
David Howard did his part in the crease, stopping two saves in his collegiate debut to help lift Penn to a 1-0 record to start the year.
*Senior Cayelli tied his career-high four points against the Greyhounds (2a, 1g), while sophomore Dahlen tallied a brace to post a career-high four points.
*Forward Dahlen earned the first Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week award of his career on Tuesday afternoon.
*The Quakers earned the #21 spot in this week's United Soccer Coaches (USC) Men's Top 25.
*The Red and Blue earned the top spot in the Ivy League men's soccer preseason poll for the third straight year, grabbing 120 points and ten first place votes.
*The top four spots of the preseason poll and projected to make the 2025 Ivy League tournament, along with the Red and Blue, are rounded out by the reigning tournament champion Princeton Tigers in tied second with 107 points and five first-place votes, Cornell in tied second with 107 and one first-place vote points, and Brown in fourth with 66 points.
*Penn returns a stacked lineup to the pitch including, 2024 All-Ivy honorees Cayelli,
Connor Dawson,
Phillip Falcon III, and
Jack-Ryan Jeremiah, along with two other starters in
Oliver Pratt and
Erickson Sakalosky.
*Midfielder Jeremiah is turning heads entering his junior year, earning spots on the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Midfielder to Watch and the Hermann Trophy Watch List. Jeremiah recorded 12 points in 2024, including four goals against William & Mary, Manhattan, and nationally ranked Hofstra, as well as in the Ivy League semifinals against Brown.
*Keeper Falcon looks to build off his stellar sophomore season, being named a USC Goalkeeper to Watch. Falcon led the Ivy League in goals-against-average (.840) and shutouts (9) while posting a .795 save percentage. The goalkeeper won four consecutive Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week honors, the most in conference history.

Leo Burney inking a homegrown contract with the Seattle Sounders FC, Nick Christoffersen with Akademisk Boldklub,
Charlie Gaffney with Tacoma Defiance, and
Stas Korzeniowski with the Philadelphia Union II.
Scouting the Pirates
*Seton Hall carries a 1-1-1 record into Friday's contest, falling for the first time this season last Saturday at Saint Louis, 1-0.
*Mikkel Lejbowicz leads the Pirates' offense with two goals and four points, while Til Kauschke trails with three points (1g, 1a).
*The Quakers will likely face Matias Molina in goal on Friday. The keeper started in the previous three matches for the Pirates, collecting a 1.00 goals-against-average and a 0.571 save percentage.
