PHILADELPHIA – As the 2026 men's soccer season approaches, the Ivy League released its men's soccer preseason poll Monday afternoon, and the Quakers were picked to finish in third place.
 
The Red and Blue secured third place with 94 points, following their third-place finish at the conclusion of the 2025 regular season.  Penn tallied a 3-2-2 record during Ancient Eight play last season, marking its fourth-straight trip to the Ivy League Tournament.
 
All-Ivy selections Connor Dawson, Romeo Dahlen, Phillip Falcon III, and Jack-Ryan Jeremiah highlight an experienced core that return to University City this fall.
 
The top four spots of the poll that are projected to make the 2026 Ivy League tournament, along with the Red and Blue, are rounded out by the reigning tournament champion Princeton Tigers in first with 123 points and 14 first-place votes, Cornell in second with 111 points and two first-place points, and Harvard in fourth with 79 points.
 
The Quakers open their 2026 campaign with a return to Rhodes Field on Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. to take on Monmouth.
