PHILADELPHIA – The return to Rhodes Field is right around the corner! The University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team released its fall 2026 schedule on Thursday morning.
"Following a challenging spring semester that pushed our learning curve, we are excited about seeing what this group is capable of heading into the fall season," said James C. Gentle Head Coach
Brian Gill. "With that being said, there is no other way to learn about yourself other than to put good games in front of the team."
Penn begins the 2026 season at home on Tuesday, Sept. 1 by hosting Monmouth at Rhodes Field before it gears up for a road trip out west against ACC foe Pittsburgh on Labor Day (Sept. 7). The Red and Blue return to University City for a pair of matches versus Seton Hall (Sept. 12) and Delaware (Sept. 15), prior to continuing non-conference action at Fairleigh Dickinson four days later (Sept. 19). Ivy League play begins with a trip to New Haven, Conn. to face Yale (Sept. 26), closing out a busy September slate.
October features eight matches for the Quakers, starting with a visit from Dartmouth on Oct. 3. Penn makes its way to Baltimore, Md. three days later for a midweek meeting with Loyola Maryland (Oct. 6) before returning to Ancient Eight action on the road at Cornell (Oct. 10). Gill's group concludes its three-game away stretch with a trip across 33
rd Street to face Drexel (Oct. 13). The Red and Blue host Brown on Oct. 17 and wrap up non-conference play when Kansas City comes to town (Oct. 20).
The Quakers' regular season concludes with three consecutive Ivy matches, first heading to Harvard on Oct. 24. Penn welcomes Columbia to Rhodes Field on Halloween (Oct. 31) for its final home match of the season and ends the year by venturing to Princeton a week later (Nov. 7).
The 2026 Ivy League Tournament will run from November 12-15 at the site of the regular-season champion and will feature the conference's top four finishers.
"We feel that our out of conference and Ivy League schedules complement each other well, because across the board all of our opponents have a post-season pedigree," Gill continued. "It will be important for our group to be doing the work these next couple of months in order to be ready for what is ahead."
