Men's T&F Qualifies Three for NCAA Outdoor Championships

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of Pennsylvania men's track and field team concluded competition on Friday at the NCAA East First Round in Jacksonville, Fla. with Kampton Kam, Ryan Matulonis, and Alex Sadikov punching their tickets into the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. 
 
Kam finished 12th in high jump clearing a height of 2.15m (7' 0.25"). He started the day jumping clean through 2.10m (6' 10.75").
 
Ryan Matulonis and Alex Sadikov advanced to the 400m hurdles semifinals in Eugene, Ore. as both athletes qualified in heat three of the quarterfinals. 
 
Matulonis placed second in the heat crossing the finish line with a time of 49.88. Sadikov placed fifth, advancing on time, clocking in a personal-best time of 50.21. 
 
Alec Jackson, Nayyir Newash-Campbell, Ben Markham, and Matulonis finished 19th in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:06.64.
 
Conrad Moore claimed 26th in high jump clearing 2.05m (6' 8.75")
 
Edwin Klanke placed 21st in the 1500m quarterfinals with a time of 3:47.14. 
 
Kai Deines finished 40th in the discus event throwing 43.98m (162' 0"). 
 
In the 5000m, Luke Johnson finished 29th at 14:26.54, followed by Dylan Throop in 31st at 14:30.4
 
Angeludi Asaah placed 24th in the women's shot put recording a mark of 15.66m (51' 4.5").
