Quaker Notemeal
Penn enters the weekend 3-32-1 on the year, earning their first win in conference play against Cornell last weekend to bring their Ivy League record to 1-17. In the 5-2 victory, Jade Montgomery led the Quakers offensively, going 3 for 4 at the plate with an RBI and 2 runs scored. Pitcher Kelly Zybura had a solid outing that game, allowing just 4 hits and 1 walk in five innings of work.

Freshman Gigi Ganje leads Penn at the plate, earning a .311 batting average with 33 hits on the year. Montgomery has brought the power, leading her team with 6 home runs and 18 runs batted in, also leading her team with a .819 OPS and .495 slugging percentage.

Previewing the Tigers
Princeton enters the weekend 18-15 overall and in first place in the Ivy League with a 12-3 record. The conference-leading Tigers aim to clinch the Ivy League title this weekend, needing three wins in their final four regular-season games to hoist the trophy. Princeton comes to Philadelphia with a chip on its shoulder, having lost two of three games in its series against Columbia last weekend. The Tigers lead the conference statistically in most categories, including team batting average (.332), ERA (1.88), fielding percentage (.986) with numerous individual statistical categories being dominated by members of the team.

Historically, Princeton has dominated Penn in this matchup. Leading the all-time series 73-33 and sweeping the Quakers last season, the Tigers look to maintain their dominance in this series.
