PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women's golf team will tee it up at the
Ivy League Women's Golf Championship this weekend. The three-day, 54-hole event will take place Friday through Sunday in Naples, Fla., the six teams in the field playing 18 holes each day.
The Championship is a six-play, four-score event for the first time, which means each team will have six players in its lineup with the low four scores each day counting toward the team score.
Penn is looking to win the team title for the third time; the first two championships came in 2010 and 2023. Three women who played for the Quakers in the 2023 Championship are still on the roster: senior
Natalie Cao and juniors
Bridget O'Keefe and
Julie Shin. All three earned All-Ivy honors that year, O'Keefe getting first-team recognition for her third-place finish while Cao (6th) and Shin (t-10th) were second-team honorees. Last year, sophomore
Maggie Ni was a second-team All-Ivy pick after she tied for seventh.
