This is the first year the All-Ivy teams were voted on by the coaches; previously they had been determined by one's finish at the Ivy League Championship.

Shin made plenty of history at last weekend's Ivy League Championship, shooting under-par rounds both Friday and Saturday on the way to a 2-over-par 218, which shattered the previous low 54-hole score for a Penn golfer at the event (223, +7 by Rina Jung in 2019). Shin also was the first player in program history with two under-par rounds at the same Championship and has now played more under-par rounds at the ILC across her career (3) than any other player in program history. The overall performance left her tied for fifth place in the 36-player field and earned her a spot on the All-Championship Team. Of note, Shin was third in the field in par-4 scoring for the weekend (4.00).
For the year, Shin was in the lineup for all eight tournaments—four in the fall, four in the spring—and finished with a team-low score of 74.7 (+3.09 to par) across 23 rounds which tied for the team high. She posted eight rounds at or below par on the year. Shin was the low Penn player in three of the Quakeres' four spring events, posted four top-seven finishes across the entire year, and never finished lower than 24th in a tournament.
Shin also was recognized as Penn's Academic All-Ivy student-athlete for the 2024-25 season.
Ivy champion Princeton swept the major awards, as Catherine Rao was a unanimous pick as Player of the Year and Olivia Duan was voted Rookie of the Year.
Penn's season concluded with the Ivy League Championship, which ran last Friday through Sunday at Royal Palm Golf Club in Naples, Fla.
