SPRINGFIELD, N.J. – The University of Pennsylvania women's golf team entered Sunday's final round at the Ivy League Championship with an opportunity to make some noise, but the Quakers could not get it going and ended the day in fourth place. The three-day, 54-hole championship event took place on the par-72 Lower Course at the famed Baltusrol Golf Club.

Penn shot 305 in Sunday's final round, its best team score of the weekend. However, it was not nearly enough as Columbia carded 290 to win the tournament at 36-over-par 900. Harvard had led the Lions by two strokes entering the day but shot 299 to finish at 907 (+43), while Princeton carded 297 as a team on Sunday to pass the Quakers and finish third with a 913. Penn ended the weekend at 56-over-par 920.
Mi Li had another strong day on Sunday, shooting a 2-over-par 74 which made her three-for-three shooting the low Penn score for each day at the Championship. She ended the event at 9-over-par 225 which left her tied for fourth in the field of 36 golfers. In addition, the freshman was third in the field in par-4 scoring (4.20) and tied for third with 36 pars.
In her last tournament round for the Quakers, senior
Julie Shin carded a 3-over-par 75 and ended the weekend tied for 11th at 232 (+16). She was second in the field in par-3 scoring (3.00, even). Freshman
Adrienne Ahn-Upton shot a 76 on Sunday and ended the weekend one stroke behind Shin at 233 (+17). She also tied for second in the field in par-5 scoring (4.67, -4).
Claire Lu was Penn's other scorer on Sunday and finished the weekend with a score of 235 (+19).
Maggie Ni (242, +26) and senior
Bridget O'Keefe (244, +28) rounded out Penn's lineup at the Championship.
Princeton's Thanana Kotchasanmanee was the individual champion, leading wire-to-wire and finishing the weekend at 4-over-par 220. That left her two strokes ahead of Harvard's Lucy Yuan.
