Quaker Notemeal
Penn enters Wednesday's standalone game 2-23 on the season after a tough weekend against Brown. Struggling at the plate, the Quakers put up only 10 runs in three games against the Bears, while giving up 29.

The Red and Blue will be local for all four of their games this week, traveling for Wednesday's game ahead of their weekend homestand against Harvard.

Previewing the Wildcats
Villanova enters this matchup with a 16-16 overall record, going 5-2 at home so far this season. Currently on a one-game skid, the Wildcats split their series against Seton Hall, going 1-2 in their last three games.

In recent years, this series has been tight between the two programs, the Wildcats leading 3-2 dating back to the 2021 season. In last year's meeting, Penn came out on top, 4-1 at Penn Park.
