This series is among the most consistent throughout program history, with the first game on Saturday marking the 94th installment of the series since 1980. In their series last season, Penn fell to Brown in game one (10-2) before winning games two (6-3) and three (3-1).

Quaker Notemeal
In Penn's most recent matchup, the Quakers dominated the Drexel Dragons, needing only five innings to secure the 16-7 victory. The win broke a twenty-game losing streak, marking their second win of the season as the Red and Blue had a breakthrough offensively.

Junior first baseman Jade Montgomery notched her fourth home run of the season against Drexel, knocking in the first three runs of the game and bringing her season RBI total to 13. Montgomery leads the team in OPS and SLG%, garnering a .922 and .560 respectively. She also leads the team in stolen bases, going 6-6 so far this season.

Freshman center fielder Gigi Ganje leads Penn with a .364 BA and 24 hits in 22 games. She's one of only five Quakers to start every game this season.

Senior third baseman Madison Bauerle has been a steady presence on the basepath, leading her team with a .397 OB% and 12 walks in 22 games played.

Previewing the Bears
Brown enters the weekend on a three-game skid after being swept by Dartmouth last weekend. After their first conference series, they are 0-3 in conference play and seventh in the Ivy League standings. The Bears sit just over .500 on the road this season, collecting a 5-4 record when they are the away team.

Senior Laurel Moody leads Brown offensively, earning a .387 BA, 1.242 OPS, and .742 SLG% in 21 games. She also leads her team in walks (14), hits (24), RBIs (14), and home runs (6) this year.

About Team IMPACT
Team IMPACT is a non-profit organization that matches children with chronic illnesses to local collegiate sports teams to foster life-long bonds of belonging, empowerment, and resilience.

Team IMPACT Philly matched Penn softball with Charlie Felton in 2021, and Charlie has been a steady presence on the team since. Felton is listed on the team's online roster as #0 and a redshirt freshman, but her integration into the team doesn't stop there. Anyone that has attended a home softball game for the Quakers has seen Charlie in the stands, heard her cheers for the team, and seen her running around with the team on the field after the game. The team supports Charlie and her family as well, visiting her in the hospital during treatments and cheering her on in her own activities. Their relationship was featured in an article written by the Philadelphia Citizen in a Citizens of the Week spotlight (article can be found here).

The Team IMPACT first pitch happening ahead of game one in the series will honor Charlie, as well as matches from at least two other Penn athletic programs.
