Juju O'Brien sent a solo home run over the left field fence in the fourth inning, tallying the Lions' fifth run of the game.
Columbia extended its lead in the fifth, Maddie Souza singling to right center field to bring home Neal for run number six. Katsivali later sent a double to right field, allowing Souza to cross the plate. Caroline Palys sent a single of her own to right center field, knocking in Sarah Mikami. The Lions sealed the game with a single from Caylene Nguyen that brought Katsivali home to make the score 10-1 after five innings.
