PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team opens a two-game homestand this weekend, hosting Yale on Saturday, Nov. 1, for a 4 p.m. matchup at Rhodes Field.

The Penn vs. Yale Series
*Penn holds the all-time advantage in the series, with a 53-40-13 lead.
 
*The Quakers own the most recent win in the series, blanking the Bulldogs 1-0 on the road in 2024 off a goal from defender 
Connor Dawson.
 
*Yale hasn't won a match in the series since the 2012 campaign when the Bulldogs won 2-1 in New England.

*The Red and Blue won their last road game of the regular season last weekend, silenced Dartmouth 2-0 on the road.
 
*A strong second half pushed Penn to victory over the Big Green as 
Patrick Cayelli scored the match-winner in the 68th minute, followed by a security goal from 
Marco Bottene in the 72nd to move into third in the Ivy League standings.
 
*On the defensive end of the field, 
Phillip Falcon III stopped all three of Dartmouth's shots on goal. The shutout accounts for the sixth of the season for keeper Falcon and the 15th of his career.
 
*Senior Cayelli is having a dominant senior season, leading Penn and the Ivy League in assists (6), goals (8), shots on goal (21), and points (22).

Romeo Dahlen is having a dominant sophomore campaign, trailing Cayelli in goals with six to bring 12 points into Saturday's Ivy battle.
 
*Keeper Falcon looks to build off his stellar sophomore season, being named a USC Goalkeeper to Watch during the preseason. Falcon holds a 0.56 goals-against average, 0.857 save percentage, and 30 saves heading into the weekend.
 
*Penn returns a stacked lineup to the pitch this year including, 2024 All-Ivy honorees Cayelli, Dawson, Falcon and 
Jack-Ryan Jeremiah, along with two other starters in 
Oliver Pratt and 
Erickson Sakalosky.
 
Scouting the Bulldogs
*Yale brings a two-game skid to University City on Saturday, dropping back-to-back Ivy League contests to Dartmouth (1-0) and Princeton (4-0) to sit in last place of the conference standings.
 
*Sven Meacham leads the offense in assists (6) and points (8) while Billy Altirs, Joseph Farouz, and Angelo Zhu have all scored a team-high two goals each.
 
*The Quakers will likely face Conrad Lee in goal this week. The keeper has 23 saves, a 1.79 goals-against average, and a 0.697 save percentage on the season.
