HAVERFORD, Pa. – The University of Pennsylvania men's cross country team secured its first win of the season on Friday at the Main Line Invitational.
The Quakers scored 46 points in the men's four-mile race with the team's top five athletes scoring in the top-15. Junior
Liam Going set the pace for the team with a time of 20:18.3 Going scored fifth, followed by
Shane Murphy in seventh (20:28.3) and
Esfan Daya in ninth (20:33.3).
Diego Mendez Colon (11) and
Vidhur Polam (14) rounded out the team score.
In the women's 5k race,
Chloe Hassman crossed the finish line first for the Quakers scoring seventh with a time of 18:32.9.
