Scouting the Tigers
Princeton comes in with a 2-2 record on the season, most recently falling to Penn State, 3-2, in State College.
The Tigers are led by Beth Yeager, a two-time first-team All-America selection. She missed the 2023 season to play for the U.S. national team at the Olympics. In her return, Yeager has not skipped a beat, leading the Tigers in points this season with three.
Last year's Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Year Ottilie Sykes is back for her sophomore season. On the season so far, she is one of two Tigers to play every single minute and has anchored a backline that has two shutouts.
Scouting the Dragons
Drexel is 2-3 on the season, most recently falling to No. 19 UAlbany, 3-1, on the road.
Leading the way for the Dragons is University of Maryland transfer Anna Castaldo. The Endicott, N.Y. native has already made her impact felt in the early season, leading the way with three goals, including two in their win over City 6 rival Villanova.
Alongside Castaldo is Preseason All-CAA selection Pien Elsen. Elsen has four points on the season and scored the lone goal for the Dragons in last Sunday's matchup versus the Great Danes.
