Quaker Notemeal
*Junior Julia Ryan scored the Quakers' first goal of the season against No. 7 Louisville. It was the second of her career, and it came exactly one year after her first career goal against Georgetown.

*Sophomore goalkeeper Ruby de Frees made her first two collegiate starts vs. No. 2 North Carolina and Louisville. She made 16 saves across two games, ranking second in the Ivy League after the opening weekend. That mark is the most by a Penn goalie to start the season since Ava Rosati also clipped that mark in 2019.

*Five freshmen made their collegiate debuts this past weekend. Riley Thomson started both games, while Maxi Aranowitz, Beau Lilly Barrington-Hibbert, Darcey Chapman, and Megan Frank all came in as substitutes.

Scouting the Owls
Temple comes in with a 2-2 record on the season, most recently losing to Richmond 3-2 in overtime.

The Owls are led by Alizé Maes, who was named the BIG EAST Preseason Defensive Player of the Year and Tess Muller who also was a unanimous Preseason All-BIG EAST selection. Maes has four points on the season, netting one goal and recording two assists. Muller is second in the team in points with a pair of goals and assists.

As a team, Temple has scored 15 goals on the season, tied for fifth-best in the country. Halle Aschenbach leads the way with three, which is top five in the BIG EAST.

Scouting the Hawks
Saint Joseph's are winners of their last three games, including back-to-back victories over ranked teams in No. 16 Penn State and No. 11 Rutgers.

The Hawks are led by Lily Santi, who returns to SJU as a Third Team All-America selection in 2023. She has had a blistering start to the 2024 season, already racking up 11 points on the season, which ranks second in the Atlantic 10 and top 10 in Division I.

They also return Manu Ghigliotti, a two-time A-10 Offensive Player of the Year and 2023 First Team All-America selection. She has only recorded four points so far this season.
