PHILADELPHIA- The University of Pennsylvania softball team will finish off its home games with a three-game set against Dartmouth this weekend.
The Quakers are 32-42 all-time against the Big Green and were swept last season in Hanover.

Previewing Penn
The Red and Blue are coming off a 4-1 victory over Villanova in a Wednesday matchup at Penn Park. The Quakers were backed by a three-run third inning. After back-to-back walks in the bottom of the third,
Dana Anderson singled to bring in
Chloe Lesko, as a ground out scored
Brianna Brown. Penn added the final run of the inning, when
Katie Reagan lined a single to center field, to bring home
Jade Montgomery. In the top of the sixth, the Wildcats got on the board with a solo homer to left, but the Quakers added insurance in the bottom of the frame when
Blake Landow tripled to right, and
Dani Freer executed on a squeeze play to bring in Landow. Penn utilized four pitchers in the win, as
Payton Bean earned her third victory of the season, while
Kelly Zybura picked up her second save.
At the Plate
Senior and Philadelphia native, Reagan leads the team in batting average (.330), RBI (18) and total bases (40). Brown heads the team in runs (20), hits (34) and stolen bases (14). Anderson holds a team-high in OPS (.821), doubles (7) and slugging percentage (.469). Lesko holds a team-best three home runs, has drawn a team-high 24 walks with a .457 on-base percentage.
As a team the red and blue are batting .273, have compiled 254 hits, have scored 139 runs and have driven in 119. As a collective, the Quakers are slugging .357 and have an on-base percentage of .366, with 40 stolen bases.

In 20 appearances,
Rachel Riley has made 17 starts and leads the staff with 82.0 innings pitched. The junior holds a 5.21 ERA a 1.73 WHIP and has struck out 19. Bean has made 12 starts in 18 appearances and has tossed 60.1 innings. The junior leads the team in WHIP (1.61), complete games (3) and strikeouts (35) and has a 4.87 ERA. As a pitching staff, the Quakers hold a 5.06 ERA, have thrown 225.2 innings and have struck out 80 batters.

Penn is ranked twelfth in the country in double plays with 19, averaging .56 per game. Lesko sits at #34 in Division I with 24 walks and .71 per game. The Quakers sit third in the Ivy League in batting average and are first in the conference with 118 walks. Penn is third in the conference in hits, third in on-base percentage, fielding percentage and stolen bases.
Previewing Dartmouth
The Big Green have won three in a row and are coming off a three-game sweep of Cornell last weekend. On Saturday Dartmouth downed the Big Red 5-4 and 8-7 and finished off the series with a 4-0 victory on Sunday.
MaryBeth Calahan leads the team in batting average, (.366), OPS (1.013), hits (30), slugging percentage (.549) and on-base percentage (.464). Olivia Schramm has posted a team-best nine doubles and 19 RBI. As a team the Big Green are batting .259, with 178 hits, 101 runs and 90 RBI.
Freshman pitcher, Jensin Hall leads the nation in strikeouts per seven innings and was named to the TUCCI/NFCA Division I National Freshman of the Year Top 25. Hall has a team-best 2.46 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, a 7-5 record, five complete games in 11 starts, with 128 strikeouts across only 79.2 innings pitched. As a pitching staff, Dartmouth holds a 4.04 ERA in 173.1 innings pitched with 181 total strikeouts.
