PHILADELPHIA- The University of Pennsylvania softball team will hit the road for a weekend matchup in Cambridge for a three-game set against Harvard. The Quakers and Crimson will square off in a single game on Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. start and will wrap up the series on Sunday with a doubleheader beginning at 12:00 p.m.Â

Previewing Penn
The Quakers are coming off a 5-2 win over Drexel in a Wednesday matchup at Penn Park. In the bottom of the first inning
Chloe Lesko and
Delaney Smith launched back-to-back home runs, giving Penn the 2-0 lead.
Katie Reagan continued the inning with an RBI double, bringing in
Jade Montgomery. In the bottom of the third,
Sammy Fenton singled to right field, scoring
Dakota Farmer. The Dragons cut the lead, 4-1 in the top of the fourth, but Montgomery punched a single through the right side in the bottom of the fifth to extend the lead 5-1. In the top of the sixth, Drexel cut the deficit to three with a steal of home, but the score held as Penn won, 5-2.
At the Plate
Senior, Briann Brown leads the team in batting average (.359), hits (33) and stolen bases (13). Reagan heads the lineup with 17 RBI and is second on the team in doubles and slugging-percentage. Fenton has a team-high 18 runs scored and 100 at-bats. Reagan has added 28 knocks and Fenton is right behind with 26.
Chloe Lesko leads the team with three homers, as
Dana Anderson is slugging a team-high .473.
As a team the red and blue are batting .283, have compiled 235 hits, have scored 125 runs and have driven in 106. As a collective, the Quakers are slugging .368 and have an on-base percentage of .375, with 39 stolen bases.
Penn sits at third in the Ivy League in batting average and leads the conference with 107 walks. The Quakers are third in the conference in hits, second in on-base percentage and fielding percentage and third in the Ivy in stolen bases.

Rachel Riley has made 15 starts and leads the staff with 75.0 innings pitched. The junior holds a 5.23 ERA a 1.72 WHIP and has struck out 17.
Payton Bean has made 11 starts in 15 appearances and has tossed 56.2 innings. The junior leads the team in WHIP (1.54), complete games (3) and strikeouts (31) and has a 5.06 ERA. As a pitching staff, the Quakers hold a 4.99 ERA, have thrown 200.2 innings and have struck out 73 batters.
Previewing Harvard
The Crimson are 4-3 at home and sit at third in the Ivy League, while going 8-2 in their last 10 games. On Tuesday, Harvard suffered a 9-5 defeat against Boston University. The Terriers jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the third, but in the bottom of the frame the Crimson scored five, to take a 5-1 advantage. Boston University scored one in the fifth and four in the seventh to hand Harvard the loss.
Four-time and last week's Ivy League Rookie of the Week, Sophie Sun leads the Crimson in batting average (.442), runs (26), hits (42), doubles (11), home runs (6), RBI (24), slugging percentage (.768), on-base percentage (.476) and OPS (1.244). Megan Davis holds a team-leading six stolen bases.
In the circle, Nicolette Hunter holds a team-best 1.90 ERA, seven wins, 1.28 WHIP with 29 strikeouts. Anna Reed has thrown a team-leading 58.2 innings, with four complete games. The senior has posted a team-high 19 appearances in 12 starts, adding a pair of saves.
